Breaking into global markets can be a challenging process, especially when navigating the regulatory landscape. In today’s fast paced world, time to market is critical and delays in obtaining product certifications and approvals can be expensive.

Manufacturers of ‘Ex’ equipment can use CSA Group to facilitate the often complex process of achieving global approvals for their products, via our Global Market Access (GMA) programme. The GMA service enables us to facilitate world-wide approvals on your behalf, utilising our existing agreements with leading Certification Bodies.

We offer a single point contact for international approvals with specific regard to Brazilian, Chinese, Customs Unions and South African markets. You can deal exclusively with us rather than each national Certification Body. Consequently, the amount of time and resource you need to devote to a project is minimal.

How GMA works:

CSA Group will work on your behalf direct with a Certification Body in Brazil, China, Russia or South Africa to provide a national certificate for your products.

We work with you to advise any required documentation/sample preparation, handle translation of documentation and in turn work with the local Certification Body to provide a liaison point and assistance in providing the national approval.

We use your existing ATEX/IECEx test data to facilitate an approval, so often there is no requirement for lengthy re-testing.
